Kids' Poem

Today I was sick, so we did "homeschool lite".

To keep the kids and their brains occupied, I started them on a punny poem. This is what we ended up with:

Madeline is a cookie,
Clementine is fruity,
and Barb is sharp as a tack.

Candy is the sweetest,
but isn't a defeatist,
because Mary Jane is a shoo-in.

Dick has been spotted
Dot has been jotted,
and Penny doesn't make much sense.
