We were at another homeschool family's house over the weekend, having dinner, talking about an activity that we are all interested in getting the kids involved with. The other dad mentioned a video someone had sent to him from one of the "MythBusters" guys on the Discovery Channel. He mentioned it was a "TED" talk. I had heard of TED from others but never checked it out. The dad showed the video to us and I loved it. I love watching a passionate person speak about an obsession. I've been a faithful listener of the podcast 'Sceptics Guide to the Universe' for about 2 years now. That's how i learned about the TED conferences. Good stuff.
